St. Vincent de Paul Society is a much loved and supported organisation for not only our students but also with their families and our staff.
Throughout the year we focus on and support a number of activities and fundraising focus undertaken by Vinnies.
Each week, during Term, some of our Senior students, accompanied by a staff member, attend the Cranbourne Vinnies Shop straight after school, helping out however it is needed.

Vinnies Winter Appeal
During the winter months our attention turns towards the Vinnies Winter Appeal, with support given by the raising of funds to purchase or the seeking of donated new or good quality blankets for distribution by Vinnies to those who desperately need it during to cold winter nights on the street.
Our Senior students also opt-in to our ‘Winter Sleepout’, where they not only learn about and discuss the plight of the homeless, but also experiencing just a little of how the homeless on our streets must feel each and every day and night. To opt-in our students also raise much needed funds for the Vinnies Winter Appeal through this activity.
Vinnies Christmas Appeal
“The St. Peter’s community has been terrific in the past assisting us with our Christmas appeal”.
“The College gathers donated food items for us to use in our Christmas hampers. and in the last couple of years the school has also provided toys for distribution to needy children”.
“The 2016 Christmas appeal was a huge success and enabled us to assist 130 families who simply put without your help would have gone without last Christmas. We were able to distribute Christmas hampers (to the value of $180 each) to families with all the essentials required for a Christmas dinner”.
“We also distributed toys to over 330 needy children in the area”.
