Trinity Families is the name of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sale Charitable Fund. The fund operated under the name Bishop’s Family Foundation until February 2014.
Trinity Families allocates money to other charities within the Greater Gippsland Area each year with applications closing at the end of each August.
Late in June, the College comes together for the day to celebrate St. Peter’s Day. The day is marked with a whole Campus Assembly and Mass, followed by a number of fun-park activities and food stalls where students can not only have a lot of fun but in the process raise funds for the Trinity Families fund. Casual dress fines also contribute to the fundraising efforts of the day.
In Semester 2, Footy Colours day allows students and staff to wear their ‘team’ uniform for the day, be it an AFL Team, Soccer, Basketball, Netball or any other National Sporting code. Again the students and staff pay a ‘fine’ contributing to the Trinity Family Fund.
