St. Peter’s College Library & Discovery Centre Program offers a range of services and resources that support the College Curriculum in a welcoming learning environment
Reading for leisure is promoted at Years 7 and 8 through our unique Book Detective Program and consistently encouraged within all other year levels.
Research skills essential to successful living in the 21st century are taught to individuals, classes and groups of students.
Resources available for academic and recreational purposes include books, magazines, DVDs and audio-books. Students can access excellent e-resources from school and at home via our St. Peter’s College Virtual Library. The on-line Encyclopaedia and Weblinks, a database of websites specifically selected for students, are recommended as a starting point for student research.
An e-notetaking template and other research strategies are also available.
