Bishop Jeremiah Coffey instituted the Catholic Bishop of Sale Religious Education Award.
The awards recognises the efforts of students achieving study scores of 40+ in VCE Religious Studies. They also pay homage to the dedication of teachers of Religious Education in our secondary schools who have influenced students' learning and developoment in their faith over many years.
In the 2016 VCE results, two St. Peter's College students achieved scores of 40+, and were acknowledged as part of a group of nine students from throughout the diocese.
