St. Peter’s College. Past Student invited to Exhibit works in Flinders Lane Gallery.

Past St. Peter's College student, College Arts Captain and Principals Art Prize winner, Ryan Pola is part of the current exhibition being shown at the Flinder's Lne Gallery.

This is a great opportunity for him so early in his career as he was invited to exhibit his work at this prestigious Melbourne gallery. He has already sold one of these works.

It is very exciting opportunity for Ryan and we wish him continued success.

Artist statement:

“Since high-school I have further developed my practice with art. Having now finished a Bachelors Degree in Visual Art I have explored many artistic conventions and continued to practice focusing on figurative works”.

“In my pieces I like to explore enduring temporal issues, often through mythological representations and symbolic imagery of the irksome. I am drawn to the enigmatic, the hidden, and the ideas that are a little bit different”.

“My current works are on display with Flinders Lane Gallery in the exhibition ‘Exploration 17’, which runs until the 17th of June, 2017”.
