Earlier this week we welcomed our new Year 7 2023 students to the College. They come from over 45 different Primary Schools, so it is a great opportunity to meet other students that history shows will in some cases become lifelong friends.
A primary aim of the day is to settle the student’s (and in some cases parents) nerves, and to make Day 1 of the 2023 school year much less daunting for our 2023 Year 7 students.
Students had the opportunity to participate in some great activities including an Amazing Race around the College grounds to familiarise themselves with the many areas and buildings. The day concluded with a BBQ lunch and icy poles, greatly appreciated on such a warm day.
There were certainly a lot of very tired but happy students by the end of their first day as students of St. Peter’s College!
